We Prepare Your Ong® Jar For Delivery
Personalized consultation and service
- Upon completion of your order, allow up to 14 days to prepare your jar and arrange delivery.
- We deliver within 200 miles of our San Antonio warehouse.
- Fees for local and regional delivery by Big Grass Living staff are based on distance, quantity of Ong Jars purchased and onsite access. Quoted fees cover a 30-minute installation per Ong. Please provide us with your address and phone number for delivery quotes. prior to purchase.
- For more challenging local and regional deliveries, additional time, equipment or personnel may be arranged in advance of delivery at an additional charge.
- For longer distances and prior to order completion, we provide freight quotes from discounted national freight carriers. We require a complete delivery address and Ong Jar size and quantity for accurate quotes.
- Ong Jars are shipped in secure wooden crates for long-distance freight deliveries
- Big Grass can provide a phone consultation with you and/or your landscaper for regional and long-distance deliveries.
Placing Your Ong® Jar
An easy, straightforward process
- Typical gutter systems can be easily adapted to direct downspouts and/or AC condensation drain lines to the Ong® Jar. Downspouts and rain chains should stop 2-3 inches above the rim of the Ong Jar.
- For capturing rainwater without a downspout or gutter system, the wide opening of Ong Jars allows collection directly below roof valleys.
- It is best to have the jar in place before gutter adaptations are made.
- Ong® Jars may be placed directly on concrete or flagstone patios.
- For landscape placement, place the jar on four or more stable and leveled 12" x 12" concrete pavers.
