MINIMUM ORDERS AND REORDERS: $500. Minimum quantities apply to a single product size or design unless otherwise specified in the product catalog. Quantity rules and minimums apply to each delivery destination. Sorry, no split orders.
Growers: for pallet quantities, discounts apply on orders of Artisan Planters and Teakwood Orchid Baskets. Contact us for details.
PAYMENT TERMS: All orders must be prepaid by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. The transaction is made when the order is placed. Sorry, no C.O.D. orders accepted.
The cost of additional services such as residential deliveries, appointments and re-deliveries is the purchaser's responsibility.
Additional requested services will be charged to the customer's credit card.
LIFT GATE DELIVERIES: Big Grass packs most orders in protective wooden crates mounted on pallets. Customers without forklifts or standard height loading docks must specify "lift gate required" (freight carrier charges apply). Customers' requests for additional freight company services will be applied to the customer's credit card on file.
Delivery times and notices are the sole responsibility of the freight carrier.
ADVANCE/HELD ORDERS: To guarantee availability of your product, Big Grass accommodates advance/held orders with a 50% deposit. Balance plus freight charges are due upon order completion by a mutually agreed on date. Deposits are not refundable.
BACKORDERS: Big Grass does not schedule or process backorders unless requested by the customer.
FREIGHT CLAIMS: Big Grass is not responsible for lost, delayed or damaged shipments. All damaged merchandise or discrepancy conditions must be reported to us within 5 business days upon receipt of the merchandise. At time of delivery, please note on the freight bill any visual damage to crates or packaging before accepting the merchandise. Include photos of damage with your claim; they are required for claims against the carrier and/or for account credits or refunds.
Our merchandise is packed with the utmost care. In the event of concealed damages, retain all cartons and packing materials and contact Big Grass. Big Grass makes a good faith effort to resolve damage claims. For damages not exceeding 20% of the value of the full order, Big Grass, at its discretion, may credit the buyer's credit card or, by customer request or consent, apply the credit to future orders.
RETURNS: Authorization from Big Grass is required on all goods returned. Credit will not be given on unauthorized returns.
A 20% restocking fee applies to returned merchandise deemed resalable. Freight charges are not refundable.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS: Colors shown in our catalogs may vary slightly from the items shipped. All handcrafted items and ceramic pieces have some degree of variance in color, size, texture and finish. These variations add to the character of the designs and to the individuality of each piece.
Small surface cracks in terracotta products are a normal occurrence during the drying and firing process of natural clay materials and are not considered a defect.
Wooden basket products may have some variation in grain patterns.
